With our FURTHER DRIVE technology, consisting of two new technical features that both aim to ensure that the OSPW X increases the drivetrain’s ability to operate efficiently over time.

Active debris removal feature (ADR): a new unique dust cover design that is firmly anchored in a recess in the pulley so as to completely enclose the bearing. This is paired with a bladed groove structure that surrounds the dust cover and, during pulley rotation, dynamically extracts debris from the pulley.

ADR is paired with our new solid disc 14- and 20-tooth pulleys, simply called ALPHA.

The ALPHA disc features a two-piece structure. A separate narrow-wide tooth profile produced in a composite material that offers extended wear protection and noise reduction. In addition to a solid aluminum disc that eliminates the potential for external objects to become trapped between the pulley spokes, while at the same time increasing the strength and stiffness of the pulley design.

FURTHER DRIVE technology is combined with a completely new cage structure that uses increased material structure—without adding unnecessary bulk—which makes it perfectly in line with the robustness for which the Eagle drivetrain is celebrated. But the real value lies in the ability of FURTHER DRIVE technology to deliver top-level performance deep into races or the season when riders need it most.
