With our FURTHER DRIVE technology, composed of two new technical features that both aim to ensure that the OSPW X increases the drivetrain's capacity to operate efficiently over time.

Active Detritus Removal feature (ADR): a new unique dust-cap design that is securely anchored in a recess on the pulley, so as to completely enclose the bearing. This is paired with a blade-slotted surrounding structure that, during pulley rotation, dynamically extracts debris from the pulley.

ADR is paired with our new 14- and 20-tooth solid-disc pulleys, simply called ALPHA.

The ALPHA disc features a two-piece structure. A tight- and wide-tooth separated profile produced in a composite material that provides extended wear protection and noise reduction. In addition to a solid aluminum disc that eliminates the potential for external objects to become jammed between the pulley blades, while increasing pulley design strength and rigidity.

FURTHER DRIVE technology is combined with a completely new cage structure that uses an elevated-material structure—without adding unnecessary volume—making it perfectly aligned with the robustness for which the Eagle drivetrain is renowned. But the real value lies in the FURTHER DRIVE technology's ability to deliver maximum-level performance deep in races or the season when cyclists need it most.
