A pad has been added to the derailleur cage, and the pulleys have been enlarged to 13D to ensure better efficiency. The low-profile SHIMANO XTR RD-M9120- 12-speed design, known as SHIMANO SHADOW RD+, offers greater compatibility with cogs. This derailleur is compatible with 10-45T cassettes for both 2x12-speed and 1x12-speed drivetrains. The XTR M9100 derailers series delivers a new level of silence by reducing tension in the lowest gear and by adding a pad to the cage. The wider 13D pulleys increase efficiency and optimize chain management, while compatibility with SHIMANO’s new 12V cassettes significantly broadens the range.
