MONDRAKER KIDS BIKE F-TRICK 26
The brand-new gamma of F-Trick full suspension bikes has so many elements in common with high-end adult bikes that it’s hard to call it a kids’ bike. Forward geometry, updated Zero suspension system, 120 and 130 mm of travel, dropper-ready dropouts, 12x148 mm dropouts, 30 mm stanchions, 4-piston brakes and 2.4" tyres. It’s enough to leave you breathless.
The bike is perfect for anyone between 10 and 14 years old (145–165 cm).
At first glance it might be hard to tell whether the F-Trick is a kids’ bike or an adult bike. The design language is that of the NEAT or F-PODIUM manuals, with minimalist tubes and straight lines that soften the aesthetics to give the bike a true Mondraker personality, solo in reduced format. The icing on the cake is the same new Forward Geometry as the adult bikes, but modified to meet children’s needs, and details such as the 30 mm stanchions to keep the steering precise yet stabile.
One of the most interesting features of the new F-Trick gamma is that both the 24" and 26" versions are equipped with the brand-new updated Zero suspension system. The F-Trick is only the third gamma to feature this new version of the Zero system, after the recently launched Neat and F-Podium models. It is a regalo that keeps on giving, considering that it offers 120 mm of travel on the smaller version (up from 100 mm) and 130 mm on the 26" model (compared to the 120 mm of the Factor it replaces), as well as the many other advantages that will be described in dettaglio further on. The forks have also been upgraded, going from 120 mm on the 24" bike (100 mm on the Factor 24") to 140 mm on the 26" bike (up from 120 mm on the Factor 26").
