The Cervélo Áspero-5 Force AXS 1x is a carbon gravel race bike built for the front of the race: according to Cervélo it is the most aerodynamic gravel bike ever made, 37 watts faster than the previous model and 34 watts faster than its nearest competitor. It is equipped with a wireless SRAM AXS 1x12 drivetrain with an integrated power meter. With clearance for 45 mm tires, downtube storage and a threaded bottom bracket, it is ready to race the moment it leaves the shop.
The Áspero-5 Carbon frame brings more than 30 years of Cervélo aero know-how from road and triathlon to gravel. The new frame is 66 g lighter than its predecessor despite its larger aero surfaces, and the aero handlebar and stem alone account for nearly 6 watts of savings. The Áspero-5 made its rainbow-jersey debut under UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos.
