Even our aerodynamic consultants predicted limited benefits, so Castelli called the jersey Split Second. In the end, the benefits were substantial and revolutionized the look of the professional peloton. Now we are on the seventh major revision of the jersey and we have found even more benefits. Still benefiting greatly from CFD trailing wake flow analysis in the pedal position for fabric and seam placement, plus feedback from professional cyclists, this jersey is fast and comfortable for long days in the saddle.
