A product that is the result of collaboration with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Mips, with whom we shared our CAD models and carried out finite element analysis (FEA) to study skull malleability in prima infanzia. This led us to use larger amounts of low-density foam, to better protect the heads of small children, which are more fragile and still growing.
DATA-DRIVEN INNOVATION. Thanks to the collaboration with KTH and Mips, with Mio 2 we were able to increase the amount of low-density foam by 16.5%, with an increase in casco size of just 2.5%.
COMFORT. The Mio 2 may feature the most innovative technology, but it is useless if the casco is not worn correctly. This is why the Mio 2 is available in child-specific sizes and is equipped with our SX adjustment system, so that it adapts to head size and always ensures maximum comfort. With the Tri-Fix strap splitter, adjusting the casco fit is really child’s play.
