BICYCLE SANTA CRUZ TALLBOY 5 C S
The new SANTA CRUZ TALLBOY 5 C S features a playful style, 130 mm of suspension travel upfront and revamped rear suspension to unleash the desire to lower all the times on descents. The tallboy is a cross-country bike that downhill riders also like.
This bike full-spec includes: carbon frame, 29" wheels, VPP layout and 130 mm front and 120 mm rear travel. On the sloping top tube is the GloveBox: a compartment located just above the shock where you can store small personal items.
Under the bottle cage there is a small door where you can insert the inner tube and small tools for quick repairs.
The Tallboy is a dual-suspension bike, perfect for descending, and on the suspension you can now take advantage of a compression curve that offers better bottom-out sensitivity.
The shock has a lower initial ratio but a higher final ratio and the entire system is reactive and snappy.
The bike features a flip-chip that increases or decreases suspension progression and the 67.5° angle allows tackling the most challenging descents. The saddle angle is tilted at 76.7° and helps improve the seated position while pedaling, and the reach has been extended by 5 mm to provide additional stability on descents.
