SANTA CRUZ TALLBOY 5 C S BIKE
The brand new SANTA CRUZ TALLBOY 5 C S has a playful style, a fork with 130 mm of travel and a redesigned rear suspension to unleash your desire to beat all your times on the descents. The Tallboy is a cross-country bike that is also very popular with those who ride downhill.
This full suspension bike features: carbon frame, 29" wheels, VPP layout and 130 mm of front travel and 120 mm rear. On the down tube there is the GloveBox: a compartment located just above the shock absorber where you can store small personal items.
Under the bottle cage, instead, there is a small hatch where you can insert the inner tube and small tools for quick repairs.
The Tallboy is a full-suspension bike, perfect for descending, and on the suspensions it is now possible to exploit a compression curve able to offer better end-stroke sensitivity.
The shock has a lower initial ratio and a higher final ratio and the whole system is responsive and snappy.
The bike is equipped with a flip-chip that increases or decreases the progressiveness of the suspension and the 67.5° head angle allows you to tackle the most demanding descents. The seat angle is 76.7° and helps improve the riding position while pedaling, and the reach has been extended by 5 mm to provide further stability on descents.
