The FOCUS JAM2 SL 8.7 BIKE is a light e-bike with carbon frame, Fazua Ride 60 motor, 430 Wh battery, dvo diamond fork, Rock Shox Deluxe Select+ 150mm shock with F.O.L.D kinematics and trail-ready Sram NX 1x12.
It is the perfect bike to get into the mondo of e-MTBs and is ready to tackle any route. The fully carbon frame optimizes weight without compromising rigidity and usability. The top tube is designed in the most radical and minimalist modo. Thanks to the semi-integration of the shock, the bike has a reduced stand-over that allows ample freedom of movement.
The FAZUA Ride 60 motor provides the feeling of a natural pedal stroke and offers support uphill. The compact and lightweight yet powerful e-drive has 60 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 450 W. If you need an extra push, the boost function helps you pedal easily even on the steepest tratti.
Thanks to the high efficiency of the FAZUA system and a 430 Wh battery, the ride won’t stop before you reach your Rider’s High. Adding a range extender provides an additional 210 Wh.
The assistance modes are three and the motor support can be customized according to your needs via the FAZUA app.
The bike’s geometry can be adjusted at two points: one is the head angle, the other is the chainstay length. The steeper head angle of 65.5° results in more agile handling of the bike, while the slacker position of 64.5° offers a more downhill-oriented setup. Switching the FLIP CHIP from 440 to 447 mm changes the entire bike setup. Thanks to the longer stays the bike is more stabile and more manageable uphill. The short setting leads to a more agile geometry.
The F.O.L.D system by Focus has been readapted for this bike and the amount of link has been reduced, resulting in weight loss. The updated kinematic design reduces braking influences and allows maximum bike control in all situations.
