The BICYCLE FOCUS JAM2 SL 8.7 is a light electric bike with a carbon frame, Fazua Ride 60 motor, 430Wh battery, DVO Diamond fork, RockShox Deluxe Select+ 150mm shock with F.O.L.D geometry and trail-ready SRAM NX 1x12 drivetrain.
It is the perfect bike for getting into the world of e-mtbs and is ready to tackle any trail. The frame, entirely carbon, optimizes weight without compromising stiffness and usability. The horizontal top tube is designed in the most radical and minimalist way. Thanks to the shock’s semi-integration, the bike has a reduced stand-over height, allowing ample freedom of movement.
The FAZUA Ride 60 motor offers the feel of a natural pedaling motion and provides climbing support. The compact, lightweight yet powerful e-drive has a 60 Nm torque and a maximum power of 450 W. If extra push is needed, the boost function helps to pedal easily even on the steepest sections.
Thanks to the high efficiency of the FAZUA system and a 430 Wh battery, pedaling won’t stop until you reach your Rider's High. The addition of a range extender provides a further 210 Wh.
There are three assistance modes and the motor support can be customized to your needs through the FAZUA app.
The bike geometry can be adjusted at two points: the head angle and the horizontal chainstay length. The steeper head angle of 65.5° results in more agile handling of the bicycle, while the tighter position of 64.5° offers a more descent-oriented setup. The Flip Chip transition from 440 to 447 mm changes the entire bike setup. With the longer chainstays the bike is more stable and easier to handle when climbing. The shorter setting yields a more agile geometry.
Focus’s F.O.L.D system has been adapted for this bike and the amount of links has been reduced, resulting in weight loss. The updated kinematic design reduces the influence of braking and allows maximum control of the bike in all situations.
