The days when your hardtail meant you would suffer consequences for days are over. The Epic Hardtail Comp changes the game and blends comfort and capability with lightness. Making the lightest bike possible has always been the race within the race, but at what cost? The battle of the grams has certainly not been without casualties, and XC hardtail bikes have become known for a harsh, nervous ride that sacrificed capability and versatility.

But who said that straining against your bike makes you faster? It should be recognized instead that the fastest bike is more than just a light bike. No more death-by-shocks, measuring-back-pain-by-distance, and on with the new thinking. The Epic Hardtail, ridiculously capable, mystically comfortable, light enough to turn heads, and fast all around.

Of course, we optimized every small detail of the Epic Hardtail to still achieve the lightest production frame in the world, but our aim was mainly to create an Epic Hardtail capable and comfortable with aggressive geometry inspired by singletrack, ample space for tires, and excellent vertical-plane absorption — all in creating a bike that lives and breathes the foundations of speed.
