The Q36.5 GREGARIUS ULTRA BIB SHORTS are made of UF Knit44 ECO fabric and feature both a new tailored construction and the new SM-Anatomic* chamois. The bib shorts are equipped with a lumbar support panel: an X-cut panel positioned above the back of the chamois. The panel is made of an exclusive fabric, woven with the highest density (warp force modulus 510, weft 620), compared to any other insert of the shorts. The ribbed structure provides greater consistency in the fabric structure and, this extreme compression, creates a lumbar and gluteal muscle support area, offering the cyclist greater stability, orientation, balance, and proprioception in this critical zone, where all the main muscles involved in the athletic motion of pedalling come into play.
The highly performing Super Moulded (SM) anatomical chamois is specifically designed for a solid feel and 360° support. The complete three-dimensionality follows the anatomy of the human body better and offers greater comfort while pedalling. The foam padding has been specially calibrated using varying densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischial, genital, and gluteal areas, achieving an extremely sophisticated tuning of its overall comfort.
The bib shorts have a pre-shaped, laser-cut fit to create the lowest possible resistance to the body when the cyclist gets in the saddle.
