The Santa Cruz Megatower, with its clearance for large 29" wheels and its long-travel, durable carbon fiber frame, offers the high-speed confidence features of a race bike. However, the relatively steep seat angle and size-specific geo maintain the Megatower's pedaling capability, elevating it to the perfect choice for big gravity rides, park laps, and enduro races.

The VPP™ suspension can be optimized to find a balance between pedaling efficiency and the ability to handle bumps. The Megatower is exceptional at absorbing the hardest hits, so the rider can push harder, with greater confidence, even on the roughest terrain. But thanks to pedaling efficiency, climbing to the best and highest trails is not as much of a slog as with other bikes.

Robust carbon frame

Santa Cruz frames are not disposable products. With regular maintenance of the bearings, they easily last a rider's entire lifetime. Carbon is not synonymous with lightness, but with durability, which is reinforced by the warranty and the crash replacement policy.

VPP suspension travel

165 mm of VPP™ travel as standard, but if you choose to switch to a rear shock with longer stroke (65 mm) you can reach 170 mm.

Anti-squat

The low leverage ratio of the Megatower offers a feeling of greater damping and control at speed. The lower anti-squat reduces pedal-induced harshness and provides excellent absorption of square-edge bumps, offering greater leeway when taking blind risks on wild trails.

The geometry adapts

The chainstay lengths of Megatower grow with the frame sizes. So everyone gets the same balanced geometry.
