Floating axles ensure a much smoother suspension movement along the entire travel of the fork, greatly improving sensitivity and overall ride quality.The fork is equipped with a new patent-pending quick-release lever floating axle system that combines the benefits of a floating axle with the ease of a tool-free quick release. With this system, the spacing is locked by a floating sleeve, allowing you to repeatedly remove and reinstall the front wheel while maintaining perfetto fork alignment. The positioning of the floating sleeve is factory pre-set, so if you’re not sure how to use the floating axle system or simply don’t want to deal with it, you can just install the front wheel and continue your ride. When the fork compresses, the aria volume inside the lower legs decreases, increasing aria pressure. The more the fork compresses, the more pressure increases. This effect can have the undesired consequence of preventing full travel from being reached.
