GENIE — The flying carpet: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy is GENIE. This air-spring patent-pending technology we invented fulfills the three wishes of every rider: the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out protection than a standard air spring, and an adjustable platform for a playful feel. THE 'GENIUS': GENIE combines the linear stiffness of the coil spring that improves control through the “hit zone” with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of travel to prevent bottoming out. Truly, it’s the best of both worlds — coil and air — with extra adjustment potential. Say goodbye to compromises and welcome the future of suspensions.
WHICH TRAVEL?: With force management better by 16.3% compared to a traditional air-sprung damper, GENIE ensures the Stumpy 15 performs like a bike with greater travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy (rear travel 145 mm) and our Enduro (travel 170 mm) both use 101 mm of travel to absorb a 1080 N impact.
GOGO TRACTION: In-depth field testing shows that Stumpjumper 15 Alloy with GENIE delivers 57% better traction than a standard air-sprung damper because GENIE offers flexible performance similar to a coil spring, keeping the wheel in contact with the ground for a greater percentage of time than a typical air spring.
GOODBYE TO BOTTOM OUT: 39% fewer bottom-out events compared to a standard air spring. When you hit big hits, you’ll benefit from the progressive curve in the last 30% of GENIE’s travel. Thanks to the two-stage behavior, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-out events.
PERFECTED GEOMETRY: the geometry of this bike provides great capability when needed, agility in tight sections, and climbing efficiency. The wide cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, relaxed head angle, and optimized fork offset promote stability even on technical terrain.
YOUR WAY: the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy perfectly integrates geometry adjustment, making it the most customizable trailbike ever. Two distinct geometry settings allow you to fine-tune performance for any style and terrain. The head angle and bottom bracket height can be precisely adjusted to ensure stability or nimbleness.
WHEEL CHOICE: With our aftermarket links you can choose large wheels on both the front and rear, or you can use a 27.5" rear wheel for a more responsive and playful ride. Whatever you choose, the geometry is not affected.
CARRY ALL THE NECESSARY GEAR: The SWAT 4.0 compartment on the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy increases space in the down tube, an innovation we pioneered.

Let’s be clear, the Stumpjumper EVO isn’t a normal trailbike. It’s built to tackle anything with a tunable head angle, 150mm of travel, sizes S-Sizing. You’ll be able to descend with maximum confidence.
The travel of the suspension is useless without the right kinematics, and we kept that in mind in the Stumpjumper EVO’s design. With what we learned in developing Enduro and with more than 1000 hours of on‑the‑ground and lab testing, we significantly improved pedaling efficiency and created the sense of capability, efficiency, and liveliness that everyone appreciates. We increased anti-squat so the suspensions resist bobbing better, and we also improved impact absorption on jagged obstacles. In short, the Stumpjumper descends with full control and climbs with agility.
The Stumpjumper EVO’s S‑Sizing geometry is the most progressive. Long, low, relaxed, short-offset fork, a taller headtube angle adjustment—these make you pedal better. But the perfect geometry can be different for different riders, which is why for the Stumpjumper EVO you can tune it in six different positions. Not only can you raise the bottom bracket by 10mm, you can adjust the head angle by up to two degrees. Finally, if you like the mullet, for the Stumpjumper EVO you can mount a 27.5" rear wheel paired with a 29" front.
The Rider-First Engineered™ technology is a sizing-specific design approach to guarantee the same ride characteristics across all sizes. So if you’re not a giant and you ride an S1, or if you need the long S6, you’ll tackle corners with the same confidence, with an equivalent balance of stiffness, all at the lightest possible weight.
In 2016 we introduced the SWAT™ compartment in the Stumpjumper frame to store pumps or other gear for repairing a puncture.

S-WORKS TARMAC FRAMESET MAIN FEATURES:
The front end has been optimized to gain maximum advantage. The fork steerer tube is positioned rearward relative to the front part of the head tube to offer much lower aerodynamic drag. Thanks to the new UCI rules, for the SL8 it has been possible to fit a narrower, more aerodynamic seatpost to ensure that turbulent air in the leg area can flow more easily toward the rear of the bicycle.
Frame weight 685 grams, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and lighter than any other World Tour bike*. Maximum lightness possible in the downtube area, seat tube, and rear of the bike. The frame shapes respond so efficiently to the stresses that the material thickness could be reduced, removing the superfluous.
The stiffness-to-weight ratio is 33% better than the SL7. The frame is agile and precise in the most demanding situations and responds immediately and efficiently to pedal input. The zones that ensure power transfer and steering precision are stiffer than ever; in the saddle the Tarmac SL8 is more comfortable, filtering 6% more of ground-induced vibrations and allowing you to tackle corners with a unique sense of agility and balance in the world of road racing bikes. The same SL7 geometry with the same generous 32 mm tire clearance, so you can use a higher-volume tire when needed.
The S-Works Tarmac SL8 frame, with 68mm threaded bottom bracket, is the perfect starting point to build the bike of your dreams.
