The BOA® cable has been positioned downward and angled to prevent the forefoot from lifting. Thanks to this evolution, the Velcro strap was eliminated and the shoe’s structure improves power transfer and eliminates unwanted pressures and pinching. The new S-Works Torch Lace combines the timeless upper style with laces with unparalleled performance in efficiency, lightness, and comfort. A shoe that “disappears on the foot.” Like every one of our shoes, it is made according to Body Geometry criteria: identify a hotspot, solve it with design, and validate the concept with the scientific method. This is how we improve comfort, performance, and reduce the risk of sports-related injuries.
Comfort: The forefoot of the S-Works Torch Lace, developed thanks to Retül data and numerous foot scans, is 4 mm wider than the S-Works 7. The zone upper is flexible enough to adapt to many foot shapes without deforming, ensuring a secure and consistent fit. The asymmetrical heel counter prevents ankle blisters while providing the necessary knee stability.
Efficiency: Each of our Body Geometry shoes with the patented Varus Wedge that creates a 1.5 mm outward tilt improves ankle, knee, and hip alignment for a stable pedal stroke. Thanks to the lace closure, carbon outsole, and lightweight upper, the weight of the S-Works Torch Lace is reduced, only 200 grams for a size 42 shoe. The internal I-Beam reinforcement in the carbon outsole creates the perfect weight-to-strength ratio for the hard efforts of professional runners.

Elements such as the uni-directional carbon outsole, dual Boa closure, and seam-free upper make the Torch 3.0 efficient, comfortable, reliable, and high-performing.
The Body Geometry method: evolution has led us to walk, not pedal, which could result in foot collapse or misalignment of foot, knee, and hip. The Torch 3.0, like all Body Geometry shoes, helps solve these problems thanks to three patented technologies – varus spread, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal support – to increase pedal power without sport trauma. All of this is supported by scientific validation and two decades of field experience.
Carbon sole: The Torch 3.0 features a lightweight uni-directional carbon sole that provides balanced rigidity throughout the shoe, using less material and thus reducing overall weight. This sole ensures very efficient power transfer, quite similar to that of the S-Works shoe. The SADDLE SPECIALIZED PHENOM COMP 143, sturdy and comfortable, is perfect for mounting on MTB. The seat shell has been reinforced with carbon fibers; the outer edges are elastic and closely follow the rider's body profile. The saddle is equipped with Cr-Mo tubular springs and a level-two padding for XC racing. The design prevents the shorts from snagging, and the construction is rigid and efficient.
