The seat clamp allows you to lower/raise the height of the seat tube according to the cyclist's individual needs. The lever type can be opened/closed easily without using tools, while the screw type can only be adjusted with the aid of tools. This version allows for constant adjustment of the seat height while simultaneously protecting the saddle from theft.Before purchasing a seat clamp, you need to know the diameter of the frame at the seat tube opening. The internal diameter must match the external diameter to accommodate the seat clamp. The external diameter, however, in addition to the seat clamp, must also accommodate the relevant "ringing" with a suitable seat clamp. If the frame and seat post are made of aluminum, it is advisable to install a seat clamp with a quick release. If at least one of the two pieces is made of carbon, it is advisable to install a screw clamp to comply with the tightening torques and avoid damaging anything.
