Maximum speed has always been the main objective in the design of the Demo. The frame design provides flexibility in wheel setup and allows the rider to mount a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5 rear wheel. A combination already tested by World Champion Loic Bruni, who was looking for the perfect balance between traction and maneuverability, now also approved by the UCI. The Demo Race rose to the top of the world rankings and in the World Cup in its first season.
The rear axle path minimizes the effect of obstacles impacts on the rear wheel, increasing speed. The Öhlins suspension, with kinematics highly appreciated on the World Cup circuit, together with the SRAM X01 drivetrain specific for DH, make the Demo Race the perfect weapon for every run.
The M5 alloy frame design provides for the mounting of a 29-inch front wheel, perfect for traction, and a 27.5 rear wheel, more maneuverable. At the same time it is possible to opt for a 29er also on the rear to accommodate different riding styles or types of course. The rear triangle is adjustable so as to ensure that the chainstay length and bottom bracket height remain tuned, regardless of wheel size.
The Öhlins TTX 22M.2 shock is capable of tackling the most technical DH tracks in the World Cup.
The Ohlins DH38 fork with 200mm travel is a guarantee on the most demanding drops.

SPEED METAL: Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld, the Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category. Every frame tube is highly manipulated and features differentiated thicknesses and profiles that offer stiffness where needed, for efficiency, vibration absorption, comfort, and optimal control.
CAPABILITY: With 110 mm travel suspension tuned with Ride Dynamics, the high-performance pedigree of the Chisel can be traced directly to the Epic 8, our World Cup racing machine. The DNA of the Epic 8’s advanced suspension kinematics, Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, and progressive geometry refined on technical World Cup courses can all be found in the Chisel, making it more than capable of handling varied terrain with confidence and speed.
EFFICIENCY: The Chisel is the most efficient bike in its category, thanks to the use of the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8. The forward seat tube places the rider in an optimal pedaling position. Optimized anti-squat reduces pedal bob. Put it all together and you’ll understand how the Chisel translates every watt on the pedals into maximum forward motion.
SMOOTHER IS FASTER: We designed the Flex Stay stays so that the suspension would be class-leading, while at the same time eliminating the extra weight and maintenance of the pivots used in traditional designs. Extensive field and lab tests have shown that the Chisel has achieved the impossible: the efficiency, control, and light weight of the Flex Stay design – common on carbon bikes – with an advanced alloy.
