VITTORIA AIR LINER The VITTORIA AIR LINER is a MTB insert that represents a great compromise between stability and traction and guarantees controlled and comfortable riding. It is inserted inside tubeless tires and replaces part of the air-filled volume. A smaller amount of air allows the tire to deform to the ground and absorb shocks more effectively than a normal tubeless tire. The air liner is waterproof and does not absorb liquid sealant: high performance is always guaranteed and the sealant performs its action to the fullest. VITTORIA AIR LINER MAIN FEATURES: Thanks to the Air-Liner, wheels and tires are better protected. The insert absorbs impacts that occur inside the tire and eliminates punctures caused by the rim. Control: the insert replaces part of the air volume inside the tire. Reduced air presence allows the insert to grip the ground better than a traditional tubeless system. Performance: the air liner increases lateral stability without compromising grip and traction. Better performance in corners, climbs, and braking. Durability: the air liner is made with a highly durable polymer. Used under normal conditions, it can last up to 2000 hours; or 1 hour completely air-free (runflat). Built in high-density polymer foam that guarantees long product life and durability, it allows riders to tackle even the most extreme descents with confidence. It provides a robust barrier between the rim and the tire, offering unprecedented protection against punctures, sidewall cuts, and pinch flats. The Air-Liner Protect Downhill version uses a higher-density foam than the enduro version, meticulously designed to withstand the extreme, relentless forces encountered on high-speed descents. Unlike its predecessor, Air-Liner Protect Downhill is presented as a complete ring, with the ends already joined, eliminating the need for cuts and ties. TechnologyAir-Liner Protect Downhill is made with a high-density expanded material formula specific to downhill needs. The material is compatible with any type of liquid sealant. It is available in 2 wheel sizes (27.5" and 29"), each compatible with tires from 2.4" to 2.6". It must be used only with tubeless setups (not compatible with inner tubes) and only with tubeless valves - one valve is included in the package. The "T" shape creates a barrier between the rim edges and the inner side of the tire bead. Air-Liner Protect does not affect tire rolling resistance. Under air pressure, the insert collapses onto the rim creating a seal capable of withstanding even the strongest impacts. With Air-Liner Protect, no foreign object can roll inside the tire. Air-Liner Protect supports the tire sidewalls under the load of the corner. You can take on corners at full speed: there is no risk that your tires will come off the rim. Air-Liner Protect also increases sidewall protection against cuts and punctures. Thanks to its "T" shape, Air-Liner Protect allows you to increase the air volume inside the tire. This means you can lower the air pressure and achieve greater grip without risking damaging the tire or harming the rim.
