The SPECIALIZED ROVAL TRAVERSE SL II 240 6B 29 28H FRONT WHEEL is perfect for trail enthusiasts with an agile and controlled riding style. The front/rear specific rims with an optimized layup offer 15% greater strength at the front and 25% at the rear compared to the previous version.
Compared to the previous Traverse SL, the new wheels provide 21% more vertical vibration absorption thanks to the specific front and rear layup. The shape of the rims allows controlled flex for greater traction and therefore unparalleled control.
The optimized, flat profile (“flat top”) means that 85% more force is required for a pinch flat to occur compared to a classic rounded profile.
The Roval ThreadBed Valve screws directly into the rim, eliminating compression nuts and air leaks due to rim flex; it also makes tire installation easier and reduces the formation of clumps in the sealant.
