Compared to the previous Traverse SL, the new wheels provide vertical plane vibration absorption 21% greater, thanks to the specific front and rear lay-up. The rim shape allows controlled flex for greater traction and therefore unparalleled handling.
The optimized flat profile ('flat top') means greater forces (85%) are required for pinch flats compared to a classic rounded profile.
The Roval ThreadBed Valve screws directly into the rim, eliminating compression nibs, air leaks due to rim flex, and also makes tire installation easier, reducing bead sealant clumping.
