The SPECIALIZED ALPINIST CL II TUBELESS 700C FRONT WHEEL has the same rim as the Alpinist CLX II: a very slight increase in power delivered to the pedals results in immediate acceleration, and it can trace a perfect line in a corner. The wheel exceeds the resistance standards of any certification institute by almost twofold. The wheel uses DT Swiss 350 hubs with Star Ratchet system, straight-pull 24 DT Swiss CompRace spokes, Pro Lock alloy nipples. The tubeless system offers high rolling resistance and advantages in handling and better puncture protection. The rim with a 1-tooth (one gear) allows pressures up to 110psi and easy tire installation.
