Origins and foundation
TUNAP was founded in 1974 in Munich by Markus Buchner: initially dedicated to the production and distribution of professional additives for automotive workshops, the TUNAP brand made its market debut that same year ([turn0search2]turn0search8).
1973: ICC-INCHEM was founded for the development of greases, oils, and pastes for the industrial sector ([turn0search6]turn0search7).

Industrial Growth
1982: Opening of the headquarters in Wolfratshausen, Bavaria ([turn0search6]turn0search7).
1988: First launch of environmentally friendly CFC-free products, in line with the company's pioneering environmental approach ([turn0search6]turn0search7).
1997: Inauguration of the production plant in Lichtenau (Saxony), covering an area of approximately 74,000 m² ([turn0search6]turn0search7).
2000: Opening of the plant in Switzerland, Märstetten, with an annual production capacity of approximately 30 million aerosol cans ([turn0search6]turn0search7turn0search12).
Innovation and diversification
2005: Becomes an innovation leader with its reliable and health-oriented car air conditioning cleaning system ([turn0search6]turn0search1).

Expansion and new identity
2013: Acquisition of the companies Your Own Brand (YOB Cosmetics) and Kemacos, expanding the offering into industrial cosmetics and private labels ([turn0search6]turn0search12turn0search0).
2015: Launch of the TUNAP Sports division, focused on bike care and technical accessories for cyclists ([turn0search6]turn0search8).
