The cassette is laid out as follows: 10 t, 12 t, 14 t, 16 t, 18 t, 21 t, 24 t, 28 t, 32 t, 36 t, 42 t, 50 t. The largest sprocket is made of aluminum while the others are made from a single piece of steel using CNC machining. The cassette is compatible with XD drivetrain: the spacing between the sprockets has been reduced and the chain is narrower. The latest-generation X-Glide 2 technology has been optimized for 12-speed Eagle cassettes and offers fast, precise shifting and increased chain retention on the largest sprockets.
