GENIE—the flying carpet: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE. This air-sprung technology we patented asks for three wishes of every cyclist: the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out prevention compared to a standard air spring, and an adjustable platform for a playful feel. The ’GENIUS’: GENIE combines the linear stiffness of a coil spring that improves control through the “hit zone” with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of travel to prevent bottoming out.
