The new design immediately catches the eye: the oil reservoir parallel to the handlebar and the new cable outlet give a clean and tidy look. The contact point close to the grip minimizes unwanted torsion and ensures a much more direct and responsive braking feel. But the real innovations are found inside: the lever pivot point is closer to the handlebar, so the movement better follows the natural arco of the finger. Together with the lever tilted 5° upwards, you get a much more comfortable ergonomic position. Of course, it is always possible to adjust the grip width without tools, thanks to a practical dial. The sealing system has been updated and can only be used with low-viscosity (LV) mineral oil. The advantage? High performance across all temperature ranges, ideal even for long descents, and stable bite points. In addition, the responsiveness between the various components is significantly improved. The SM-BH90 hydraulic hose is still a guarantee: flexible enough to follow tight bends, but rigid enough to transmit every braking command without loss. Aesthetically discreet but powerful inside: the 4-piston aluminum caliper integrates perfectly with any frame and offers powerful and safe braking in every situation. The updated brake pads reduce noise even on rough terrain. The cooling fins, combined with the structure of the caliper and the use of high-quality aluminum, ensure efficient heat dissipation, even under prolonged stress.
