The outer polycarbonate shell, combined with the inner shell in dual-density EPS, is mapped according to the zones of the skull that are more subject and exposed to impacts. The strength and rigidity are further reinforced by the Nylon exoskeleton inspired by the geometries of auxetic materials. The shape of the casco allows excellent air circulation and helps to limit the overall weight.
The MIPS® technology reduces the rotational forces transmitted to the head in the event of an impact, while the NFC TwiceMe technology sends personal and medical information to selected contacts, allowing rescue times to be drastically reduced.
The 22 air intakes positioned on the core center and the 8 rear extractors ensure continuous airflow and optimal heat exchange at every moment of pedaling. The internal thermoformed padding, made of antibacterial and anti-odor material, ensures maximum comfort and can be easily washed.

CASCO SPECIALIZED DISSIDENT 2 MIPS
In developing the Dissident II we collaborated with athletes Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles, in order to design a casco that would meet the needs of the downhill race circuit. With five EPS inserts we were able to vary the density of the expanded foam depending on its position inside the casco – allowing us to create a lightweight casco and, at the same time, manage the energy of any impacts in the best possible way. The softer foam absorbs more energy in impacts. The Dissident II casco also features the MIPS Evolve Solution system – which helps redirect the rotational movimenti of impacts. For the Evolve Solution we used fabric to secure the internal pockets, eliminating any noise.
Coolness is not just a mental matter, it is difficult to concentrate if it is very hot, especially if it feels like you are in a sauna with your head. We therefore decided to improve the ventilation system to let a greater amount of aria in, with strategic vents to far fuoriuscire the aria calda, keeping the rider’s head fresh and comfortable in any situation.
Especially in the context of a race, it is very important that the casco is cool, light and not bulky, because it reduces rider fatigue and improves reactivity. The construction with inserts provides lightness without compromising protection. We do non know what was going through Finn Iles’ head during his winning run in Mont-Sainte-Anne, but we do know that he did not have to worry about the casco. The Dissident II is the perfect choice, whether you are racing in the World Cup or in local Enduro races.

Leatt has in fact designed a resistant and ventilated casco that also integrates 360° Turbine Technology, developed specifically to protect the rider from the strongest impacts at a cerebral level.
WHAT IS 360° TURBINE TECHNOLOGY?
360° Turbine technology is able to reduce the risk of concussion by up to 30% and rotational acceleration of the head and brain by up to 40%. The casco contains turbines made of Armourgel®, a material molded in 3d that absorbs energy. The advantage lies in non having to use a second shell, thus increasing the overall comfort of the fit.
SPECIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
The MTB 4.0 casco is designed with a durable and lightweight polymer compound shell, DH certified.
The casco integrates 22 vents and the ventilation grid on the chin guard is removable to ensure maximum ventilation.
Practical to use, it integrates an adjustable Fidlock® buckle and is perfectly compatible with Leatt neck braces.
The casco is also equipped with a new breathable, anti-odor and easily washable Dri-Lex® inner lining.

Stage is the innovative full face bike casco signed TLD, characterized by a weight of only 690 grams and a Polylite shell with fiber and polyacrylate reinforcements. The internal dual-density EPS-EPP lining, designed to withstand both high and low speed impacts, is combined with the innovative MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) to offer cutting-edge safety technology.
