It delivers an almost imperceptible feeling, meaning it is the perfect pad for extra protection even on longer rides.The D3O technology makes the materials velocity-sensitive soft and flexible with high impact absorption properties. D3O’s base technology applies non-Newtonian principles to impact-absorbing materials. Non-Newtonian materials stiffen upon impact and dissipate the energy of the impact itself, reducing transmitted force, before returning to the flexible state.
