The internal part, in contact with the handlebar, is made with a different compound, to prevent the grip from slipping and to increase its lifespan. At ODI, we're committed to pushing the boundaries. So when the opportunity arose to collaborate with Bjorn on a sustainable grip without sacrificing performance, we jumped at the chance. We are proud to present the result of that partnership, a grip so good it's hard to believe it was made from the scraps of other grip production. The new Bjorn v2.1 Lock-On Grips are produced using 100% post-industrial TPE, collected and recycled in-house to ensure consistent quality and help eliminate waste. Thanks to the high quality of the materials we use in our initial production, the material is able to retain over 95% of its original durability and soft-to-the-touch feel. The grips have also been engineered to add comfort at contact points by using textured pads and an offset design on the palm side for extra cushioning, as well as a saddle on the underside of the grip for more comfortable thumb placement while riding.
