ABS Roc is an Italian brand founded in Liguria by Alessandro Bonarotti, an expert Enduro biker, and was designed to allow tuning of air-sprung forks currently on the market.The kit is particularly suitable for tuning entry-level forks with no adjustments, allowing you to transform them in just a few minutes into high-performance suspension for demanding riders.The kit must be assembled according to your needs by inserting cylinders of different hardness into the rod according to the specifications provided in the kit, based on your weight and riding style. Once assembled, it must be positioned inside the air chamber of your suspension, eliminating any pre-existing spacers or tokens. The inflation pressure will be lower than the reference SAG pressure. In fact, depending on the kit's composition, it can even drop from 10% to 50%.This system has multiple effects: it allows for greater sensitivity up to the mid-stroke, better absorbing and absorbing any bumps in the terrain and providing greater confidence right from the start. At the same time, without the aid of hydraulics (the system completely takes care of the compression adjustments, as well as the rebound adjustments to some extent), the compression curve is very progressive in the mid-stroke, providing smooth and comfortable support, then linearizing again at the end of the stroke, thus allowing for total balance with the rear suspension during landings or when riding on fast banked sections.Another beneficial effect is due to the reduction in the volume of air in the chamber, which makes the suspension completely inert to the typical stiffening caused by long descents, maintaining a more linear air pressure.
