An explosive acceleration, magic in corners, sublime on rough roads, all this with the performance of a tubeless system. For climbs these wheels have not a gram of excess, because perfection is reached when you can’t take anything else away.
Lightness alone is not enough to obtain the responsiveness and handling of the tubeless Alpinist CLX II wheels. The pair was designed as a system and our engineers tested every part - hubs, rims, spokes - and development started from tubeless tires. The result is a wheelset weighing 1250 grams, with unparalleled ride quality.
The tooth design of the Alpinist CLX II (which allows reaching a pressure of 110 psi if that’s what you want) ensures perfect tire grip and easy installation. All this in a light wheelset that far surpasses current durability standards.
New AF hubs are 50 grams lighter than the previous Alpinist CLX hubs. Bearings are SINC Ceramic, internals DT Swiss EXP.
