SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH SHOES

The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH are modern, ultralight road cycling shoes. Thanks to Body Geometry, biomimicry, data science and the expertise of Specialized's craftsmen, it was possible to design this shoe so light that you forget you're wearing it.
The BOA® cable has been positioned downward and angled so that the forefoot does not lift. Thanks to this evolution, the Velcro strap could be eliminated, and the structure of the shoe improves power and eliminates unwanted pressure and pinching. The materials used for the upper follow the natural movement of the foot, provide all the comfort needed, and the reinforced areas keep the foot wrapped for crisp power output and optimal efficiency.
There is internal reinforcement on the inside of the sole for added stiffness and strength: the result is a 20-gram weight reduction, increased efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
The part of the shoe that accommodates the Achilles tendon, compared to previous models, is asymmetrical, providing more space and maintaining an optimal connection.

• Sole 4mm wider than the S-Works 7 model.
• Optimized shape of the carbon sole through the addition of a reinforcement and eliminating the accumulation of unnecessary material around the perimeter. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, increased efficiency and immediate power transfer.
• The asymmetric heel supports the medial and allows removal of material from the sides and the use of a lower collar.
• BOA® cable improves grip and reduces pressure on the anterior ligaments of the ankle.
• BOA® S3-Snap Fit system with independent micro-adjustment and Boa® guarantee.
  Possibility to reverse the threaded titanium sleeves to retract the cleat up to 5mm. Provision for all major pedals with three-bolt cleats.
• Non-slip and easily replaceable rear cleat.
