The S-Works Aethos frame was designed to create the perfect blend of ride quality, lightness, and style - able to accelerate on steep climbs, descend the most technical descents, and remain comfortable during long Sunday outings. But you may ask, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional shape of the racing bike of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or strength. With a completely new lay-up, perfected over many decades, you get the lightest frame on the market (585 grams for the S-Works frame size 56).

That’s why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of stiffness at the front and rear in relation to ride quality.
