The second generation of the Renthal Fatbar Carbon 31.8x800mm handlebar is the result of an intensive and thorough program of research and development, carried out with data acquisition systems and with feedback from Coppa del Mondo’s top riders: in fact, it has already earned the status of “preferred downhill handlebar” with 3 World Cup championships and a gold medal at the World Championship, being subsequently recognized as one of the most successful racing products of all time.
It is the definitive DH race handlebar which, using an entirely UD carbon construction with efficient placement and orientation of unidirectional carbon fibers, combines the right mix of stiffness, robustness and vibration absorption.
The new Fatbar Carbon V2 maintains a market-leading weight: the mere 225 g were achieved through more efficient material use, eliminating any excess to reduce weight, while maintaining the strength, durability and flexibility characteristics of the original Fatbar Carbon.
The width has been increased to 800 mm and is available with rise options of 10, 20, 30 and 40 mm to suit any requirement.
