The BICYCLE WHYTE E-180 WORKS MX is the ultimate super enduro built for the fastest riders on the most ferocious courses. The bike is equipped with Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition motor and features a gravity frame with 180 mm front suspension/170 mm rear suspension and MX wheels (29" front, 27.5" rear) to tackle everything at full throttle, regardless of difficulty and gradient.
The all-new e-180 gravity frame maximizes the benefits of the exclusive Whyte-slanted motor and the ultra-low-slung battery, which lowers the bike’s center of gravity as much as possible, delivering ultra-stable handling, dynamically centered and secure on any terrain.
The battery-in-tube design makes the frame even tougher, sleeker, and smarter because it surpasses the highest safety levels by up to nearly 250% in some areas; vital when racing longer, tougher, and more brutal events than any other in mountain biking.
The Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition motor delivers more power, more quickly, and longer from a lighter block. This allows you to accelerate more, maintain peak speed better, and even perform kick-boost on technical sections you can’t pedal through, leaving the competition literally in the dust.
The 750Wh battery provides hours of energy in the toughest race stages and epic rides, while the new LED-mounted bar remote provides all the connectivity and control you need. We also collaborated with Bosch to develop our Axial Rail sliding battery technology, which allows swapping the battery mid-race with ease.
The bike features RockShox Zeb Ultimate front fork and Super Deluxe shock, finely tuned to order, turning every millimeter of travel into extra speed and traction, delivering riders the perfect balance of support, grip, confidence, and control from the first pedal stroke.
The SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS wireless group is the fastest and most precise, as well as ultra-light. The DT Swiss wheels are designed to handle the brutal extra torque and table-top races, and the MX 29er/27.5" pairing is the fastest ever tested by Whyte.
The Shape.It "flip-chip" link allows you to change the bike’s geometry easily and quickly without affecting suspension kinematics, raising or lowering the bottom bracket height. Using the shock extender and effectively moving the eye-to-eye length of the shock, you can raise or lower the bottom bracket. Switching from the high to the low position can loosen the bike by 0.6 degrees and drop the bottom bracket by 8 mm.
