To escape on country trails, away from traffic and people, but also to push hard in your favorite gravel race, the new Diverge is perfect. The fastest, most capable, and most enjoyable gravel bike we have ever produced. It is responsive and agile under load, stable and secure when the terrain gets demanding. It has a gravel geometry and generous tire clearance. Everything we learned about road and off-road has been used to create the Diverge, destined to write a new chapter in the gravel category.
The Diverge features an E5 Premium alloy frame and a FACT full carbon fork. Everything you need to ride fast, with confidence and comfort on road, gravel, and off-road. With the Shimano Claris 2x8 drivetrain, Axis Elite alloy wheels with 38mm Specialized Pathfinder Sport tires, the Diverge E5 is extremely capable and versatile.
- The Diverge’s E5 Premium alloy frame is light, stiff, and robust. Thanks to the FACT full carbon fork, this Diverge is light, lively, and versatile.
- We decided to break with traditional gravel geometry. The Diverge has the most progressive geometry ever created for a road-curved bike, to create a capable and stable off-road bike, yet punchy and agile on the road. We increased the reach, introduced a more relaxed head tube, and adopted a fork with greater offset. A shorter stem keeps the front chainstay length contained for a lively ride. We anticipated a low bottom bracket to gain more stability, while maintaining the option to mount 650b tires if you prefer.
- The frame is prepared with mounting points for racks, including mounts on the fork and top tube, to facilitate transport for any long-range trip.
- Nothing makes a bike more versatile than tire clearance. The new Diverge has 47mm space when using a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a solid carbon insert behind the drivetrain on the rear horizontal stays, we managed to create more space without increasing length or using a low and fragile stay.
