Bronson 5 C GX AXS, a do-it-all bike with SRAM T-type gearing

From curated bike parks to the wildest trails, from alpine lines to the trails behind your home, the Bronson will feel at home both with wheels in the air and glued to the ground. For the rider with a Peter Pan spirit or for those who love the flat tabletop style, the Bronson undoubtedly encourages a bold, out-of-the-ordinary style. The Bronson’s appearance has radically changed. All this work did not come from the ego of a designer, it was not thought simply to stand out in the market. The repositioning of the lower link and the shock further down and forward was essential to lower the anti-squat for a wild bike like the Bronson. Anti-squat manifests when the force of your pedal stroke ends up stiffening the suspension. Every time you encounter an obstacle, a bump, the chain, and thus the pedals, are effectively pulled backward. If the anti-squat is insufficient, the bicycle will dive under pedal pressure. If it is too much, the bicycle will be “hard” and won’t be able to absorb the irregularities encountered while under load. By shifting any of the VPP™ pivots a couple of millimeters in any direction, extraordinary adjustments to the ride quality are obtained. The lower VPP™ link is now positioned lower and slightly further forward to optimize anti-squat. The result is a feel of softness, unparalleled feedback, and great traction.
