The CANNONDALE SUPERSIX EVO LAB71 is the perfect version of the race bike. The frame weighs only 770 g (size 56), it is aerodynamic and the new carbon construction of Serie 0 used for the Super Six EVO LAB71 features an advanced carbon fiber and a nano-resin layer that provides exceptional tensile and compressive strength, allowing more performance with less material. The result is higher speed with fewer watts.
The bike is one of the lightest and fastest currently on the market thanks to the revised tube shapes and the fully systematized design that eliminates 12 watts, at 45 km/h, compared to the previous model, making it faster than many pure “aero” bikes, even though it weighs up to a kilogram less.
The frame, fork, handlebars, wheels and seat post are designed as a single system to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
The bike offers stability and agility while the race geometry, refined and neutral, provides high handling and all the safety needed to push the bike beyond its limits.
The handlebar is made in collaboration with MOMODesign and features shapes that reduce aerodynamic drag, an elegant integration of cables, and proven race materials, to offer maximum speed, style and ergonomic refinement.
The all-new Delta fork crown design allows perfect integration of the bike’s cables from the handlebars to the frame and reduces the frontal impact of the steering tube, lowering air resistance.
Hydration bottles and water bottle cages ReGrip Aero and Gripper Aero help to keep water and make the Supersix even faster because they are designed together with the bike to create a sleeker profile, improving the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency.
The bike uses the threaded BSA bottom bracket standard, creating a solid mounting point for the crankset for maximum simplicity and reliability.
The wheel passage is designed for tires with a 30 mm section, with over 6 mm extra on both sides. Wider tires can be mounted for more comfort and control or narrower tires for responsiveness and lightness.
The bike is compatible with Cannondale’s SmartSense system to stay visible and be aware of what’s around you.
