The brand new CANNONDALE SUPERSIX EVO HI-MOD BIKE 2 meets all expectations and is lightweight, fast, and highly aerodynamic. The bike is extremely light, surprisingly reactive, and incredibly fast.
The frame is Hi-MOD carbon and combines high-strength fiber layers with precisely oriented lightweight fiber layers and high stiffness, to offer a frame that weighs only 810g and passes all Cannondale stiffness and fatigue tests.
The shapes of the frame tubes, precisely engineered, and the components remove about 9 watts compared to the previous model at 45 km/h, making it faster than many pure “aero” bikes, while weighing up to a kilogram less.
The bike is extremely nimble and merges stability and agility perfectly. The race geometry and refined engineering offer handling so intuitive and safe that you can bring the bike to the limit and stay there for the whole race.
The new Supersix mounts the Hollowgram R-SL 50 wheels: one of the fastest all-around wheels in the world. The wheel features a 50 mm high rim with very low aerodynamic resistance, flat-spoke rims, and the DT-SWISS 240 EXP rear hub gears that make the bike light on climbs and aerodynamic for the breakaway.
The new Delta steerer tube design allows perfectly integrating the bike’s cables from handlebar to frame, while narrowing the frontal impact of the steerer tube and reducing air resistance.
The ReGrip Aero and Gripper Aero water bottles and cages are designed to hold water and make the Supersix even faster as they are developed with the bike to create a slimmer profile, improving the bike’s aerodynamic efficiency.
The wheel clearance is designed for tires with a 30 mm section, with over 6 mm extra on both sides. Wider tires can be mounted for more comfort and control or narrower tires for responsiveness and lightness.
The bike is compatible with Cannondale’s SmartSense system to stay visible and aware of what’s around you.
