The BICI SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL8 PRO SHIMANO ULTEGRA UDI2 is fast, aerodynamic, and lightweight with a riding quality never achieved before. Aerodynamics, lightness, and speed enable race wins. To achieve speed, a no-compromise combination of aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness, and vibration absorption must be created.
The Specialized Ride Science Team verified that the Tarmac SL8 is the fastest frame on any course: 16.6 seconds over 40 km of flat, 128 seconds faster on the Milano-Sanremo route, 20 seconds faster on the Tourmalet climb.
The bike is equipped with the Shimano Ultegra 8100 Di2 groupset with power meter, Roval Rapide CL II tubeless-ready wheels, SL7 handlebar stem with Roval Rapide handlebars.

• The front end has been optimized to maximize advantage. The headset's steerer tube is positioned rearward relative to the front part of the frame to offer significantly lower aerodynamic drag. Thanks to the new UCI rules, for the SL8 it has been possible to mount a narrower, more aerodynamic seatpost to ensure that the turbulent air around the legs can flow more easily toward the rear of the bike.
• Frame weight 685 g, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and lighter than any other World Tour bike*. Maximum lightness possible in the down tube area, seat tube, and rear of the bike. The frame shapes respond so efficiently to loads that material thickness could be reduced, eliminating the superfluous.
• The stiffness-to-weight ratio is 33% better than the SL7. The frame is manageable and precise in demanding situations and responds immediately and efficiently to pedal input. The areas that ensure power transfer and steering precision are stiffer than ever; in the saddle the Tarmac SL8 is more comfortable, absorbing 6% more ground vibrations and allowing you to attack corners with a unique sense of agility and balance in the world of racing bikes. The same SL7 geometry with generous clearance for 32 mm tires, so you can use a higher-volume tire when needed.
• The bike mounts the Shimano Ultegra 8100 Di2 with power meter, Roval Rapide CL II tubeless-ready wheels, SL7 handlebar stem with Roval Rapide handlebars.
