What could happen if, with our 46 years of experience, we set out to build a bike made for the pure simple pleasure of riding? The Aethos was created to strike the perfect balance between exceptional ride quality, extreme lightness, and unmatched styling, and the Aethos Comp is no exception.
The Aethos Sport features easy-to-maintain Shimano 105 mechanical shifters, hydraulic disc brakes, and robust DT Swiss R470 wheels.
- The Aethos frame was designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness, and style - capable of accelerating on steep climbs, descending the most technical descents, and remaining comfortable on long Sunday rides. But you may wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional shape of the past road bike, slightly changing it to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or strength. The Aethos is more than a new bike; it marks the beginning of a new generation.
- A ultra-light frame serves no purpose if the riding characteristics don’t inspire confidence. That’s why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of stiffness at the front and rear in relation to ride quality. By studying flexibility and every tiny detail of the carbon fibers, we learned a lot about how forces pass through the frame. A few pedal strokes will prove to you that the Aethos sets a new standard of ride.
- Every detail, from the derailleur hanger to the expander on the clamp, was designed with weight, style, and durability in mind. We also included the new Alpinist carbon fiber seatpost to shave off further weight and optimize ride characteristics - all for perfect handling.
